    Telehealth

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment?

Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually?

If so, we can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth.

Telehealth allows us to provide counseling and therapy to our clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone.

Telehealth appointments can be very beneficial if getting to a traditional in-person appointment is not convenient, or you simply just don’t want to.

Our telehealth solution allows you to schedule an appointment directly online and have the entire therapy session take place digitally. While you don’t need a video camera, we do recommend you use one. To learn more and get started with virtual therapy, please contact us today.

We offer the following options. Call or email today to speak with one of our staff to find the online counseling medium(s) that is right for you!

    Phone

Are you busy but have a flexible schedule and don’t need face-to-face meetings? If so, phone sessions may be right for you. Phone sessions allow for convenience in a busy schedule, an immediate response, and the comfort of hearing your counselor’s voice. Best of all, phone sessions have historically been highly-effective. Clients using traditional therapies have long used phone check-ins to supplement their therapy.

Technical Requirements: If you feel very strongly about privacy, land lines are best. Cell phones can be used as well, but may or may not be secure. Skype can also be used for a secure connection.

    Video Conferencing

Do you feel a traditional, face-to-face experience would suit you, but can’t make it into our office regularly? If so, you should consider online video conferencing. With the right equipment, video conferencing allows you and your therapist to see and hear one another in real-time making for a very personable and productive experience.

Technical Requirements: A computer, a camera, a microphone, a high-speed internet connection, and a Skype account. Skype is a free and secure online video conferencing service.

If you’re meeting with a therapist not located in our Mason office, you’re also free to come use our video-conferencing equipment.
