  • Kelsey Alexander MSW, LSW

    Kelsey is a licensed social worker with 20 years of professional experience in the field of social services. Graduating from The Ohio State University with an undergraduate degree in Anthropology, followed by an MSW in 2011, Kelsey has spent the majority of her career engaging and working within marginalized communities and disenfranchised individuals that historically lack access to mental health treatment. Kelsey has extensive experience with children and teens who had been exposed to trauma and subsequently diagnosed with severe mood and behavioral disorders. Throughout her career, she has provided therapy for both children and adults in outpatient, inpatient, school-based, community-based and correctional settings.

    Kelsey utilizes evidenced-based interventions, practices and techniques, including: Biofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Diagnosing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Group and Interpersonal Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Brain Mapping, Cognitive Neuroscience, Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Mediation, Yoga and Progressive Relaxation. 

    Despite exposure to extraordinarily challenging cases and seemingly hopeless situations, Kelsey has remained awe-inspired by the human resilience; displayed within individuals and communities that she has worked with. She utilizes this innate capacity to cultivate empowerment and facilitate change with clients.
